System Information

Create a System Information report file to aid in troubleshooting

For Linux users, the Steam client is among the best standardised options for generating information about your system which is useful for debugging various technical problems.

Open the main Steam window

Click on Help in the top-left corner

Click on System information

It may take Steam a moment to compile the information. Ensure it has finished before you proceed.

Right-click on the newly-opened window, and click on Copy All Text to Clipboard

Save the information in a .txt file
